Dog attacks 3 people in Carlsbad
At least three people, including two police officers in Carlsbad, were recently attacked by a dog that escaped from its home, an article of Fox 5 reported on August 14.
Information coming from police Sergeant Mike Larson revealed that at around 7:30 a.m. a pit bull terrier bit the foot of a male bicyclist in the 3500 block of Roosevelt Street. The two police officers called to the scene were also aggressively threatened by the vicious dog, which they later subdued using pepper spray and a bean-bag gun. The bicyclist, whose name was withheld, did not seek medical attention for his bloody wound. It appeared that the dog, who was supervised by a caretaker while its owners were on vacation, got loose after breaking through a screen door in his home.
