Man attacked by pit bull at Oceanside park
An individual is recuperating from injuries after he was recently attacked by a pit bull at a park in Oceanside, an article of patch.com reported on Monday, April 11.
Oceanside Police stated that at 5:30 p.m. on April 10, concerned citizens notified them of three threatening pit bulls roaming in Libby Lake Park. Lieutenant Taurino Valdovinos stated when the responding officers arrived, they saw an adult male being attacked by one of the dogs. The man, whose name was not revealed, sustained injury to several areas of his body and decided to transport himself to a hospital after paramedic crews arrived on the scene to evaluate him. Responding crews had to use a fire extinguisher to restrain the three loose dogs. As of reporting, police were still looking for the owner of the pit bulls.
