13 hurt in San Diego multiple vehicle mishap

At least 13 people, including several disabled students, sustained injuries in a recent accident in El Cajon involving multiple vehicles, an article of NBC San Diego reported on July 13.

Information coming from El Cajon law enforcers revealed that at 2:25 p.m. on July 12 an accident occurred in the eastbound lane of Interstate 8. Initial investigations said a vehicle driver struck four other vehicles in the same lane while attempting to split lanes. Reports confirmed that eight of the 13 persons injured were adult students at Saint Madeline Sophie’s Center. At least nine ambulances transported the accident victims to the hospital. Authorities are still investigating the cause and details of the accident.
